Alex Park is the co-founder, President, and Chief of Operations of C4EIS LLC, an education & training technology firm founded in 2010. C4EIS designs, develops, and implements web-based and mobile training content for government and commercial clients. In addition to various levels of distributed learning design and development, C4EIS has used technology to deploy real-time data visualization tools that users can parse through using enabled devices. Alex’s focus areas include harnessing and leveraging transformative technologies to present and convey information in a manner that optimizes user engagement, comprehension, and interaction. Alex led a major initiative to design and create a relational database and user interface that allow intelligence analysts to visualize, chart, interact with, manipulate, and run scenarios based on existing and future data.
Alex also oversees C4EIS’s operational, financial, and legal matters. He has led the execution of the company’s growth strategy, successfully employing both organic and inorganic tactics typically embraced by much larger firms. Alex tapped into his extensive experience as a corporate lawyer to identify and acquire strategic assets based on their market position and federal contract portfolio.
Prior to co-founding C4EIS, Alex was a partner at Hogan Lovells LLP, a Global 100 Law Firm. There, Alex spent close to 15 years as a corporate and securities transactional attorney specializing in capital markets, mergers and acquisition transactions, private and public investments, private equity and fund formations, complex commercial transactions, and general corporate representation. He has represented some of the largest investment banks, private equity and investment funds, and publicly traded companies, helping stakeholders navigate complex regulatory, commercial, financial, and other market forces. As the lead transactional attorney on many deals, Alex also managed various other legal and related matters that are common in large complex corporate acquisitions, such as shareholder litigation, tax strategies, executive compensation, employee benefits, finance, corporate communications, real estate, and environmental impacts. In all, Alex has been personally involved in capital market transactions with an aggregate transaction value of nearly $100 billion and M&A transactions with an aggregate transaction value of nearly $50 billion over the course of his legal career.
Alex holds an undergraduate degree in accounting and finance (magna cum laude) and a law degree from George Washington University.
